Welcome to the Prince Township Public Library, one of the few libraries in Northern Ontario that is operated entirely by volunteers.
The Prince Township Public Library officially opened on November 30, 1987 in the former basement storage unit of the rural public school, Prince Township. This school became what is now known as the Prince Township Community Centre. |
It would take some time and quite a few tireless heroines and heroes – stoic in their beliefs and efforts that libraries are a vital part of a community - but we finally made it out of the basement and even expanded our space to what it is today.
